Container handler manufacturer Taylor Machine Works will implement a robotic charging system from Rocsys for its second-generation ZLC electric container handler. Chinese battery-maker CATL has chosen to use Japan-based Toyocolor‘s Lioaccum conductive carbon nanotube (CNT) dispersion for its high-capacity Li-ion batteries. British solid-state battery manufacturer Ilika Technologies is leading a 24-month, £8.2-million Faraday Battery Challenge collaboration project. Tesla has entered into a Binding Offtake Agreement with Australia-based Magnis Energy Technologies, “a vertically integrated lithium-ion battery technology and materials company,” for anode active materials (AAM).   Magnis is developing a graphite mine in Tanzania where it plans to extract “ultra-high-purity natural flake graphite.” Tesla plans to purchase at least 17,500 tons per year (tpa)
