EvoCharge has introduced its Level 2 EvoCharge Max EV Charging Station, which the company says delivers up to 19.2 kW of power, or 80 amps on a 240 V circuit, and is designed for higher-amperage-acceptance fleet vehicles like buses and light-duty trucks.

Features include OCPP 1.6J compliance; ISO 15118 readiness for future plug-and-charge capability; NEMA 3R rating for indoor and outdoor use from -22⁰ to 122⁰ F; Wi-Fi, LTE, RFID and Ethernet connectivity; LED charge-status indicators; and network connectivity for hardware diagnostics and remote automated software updates.

The charger is also de-ratable in increments from 10-80 A. It can be wall- or pedestal-mounted and includes a side-integrated plug holster.

Said company President Tom Moser: “This product will help our fleet customers prepare for their future charging needs as battery technology continues to advance and EV adoption grows.”
