Jonny Smith drives Audi’s first fully electric production car – the £82,240 E-tron SUV launch edition. Quattro 4wd is delivered by a pair of electric motors that combine to produce 300kw. 0-62 in under 6 seconds, up to 241 miles on a single charge (claims Audi) and with the superb capability to rapid charge at 150kW.
Prices in the UK will start from £72,490. It’s more expensive and slower than the likes of Jaguar’s iPace, but is the E-tron better? Jonny heads to the UAE to find out.
